- What output formats does Scriveno produce?
- Publication-ready LaTeX, PDF, DOCX, and Markdown, plus a live rendered preview in the browser, free text-to-speech playback, and paid voice-over.
- Can Scriveno read my notes aloud as a voice-over?
- Yes - beyond the free, instant browser playback every result gets, Free and Pro accounts also get a monthly allowance of voice-over points to generate real voice-over audio from a catalog of natural-sounding voices. Extra points can be purchased any time from your profile page.
- Does Scriveno handle chemistry structures and physics diagrams, not just equations?
- Yes. Hand-drawn diagrams, apparatus sketches, and chemical structures are detected and included alongside the transcribed text, not just typeset equations.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. The Free plan gives you a page allowance with a daily and a weekly cap, and you can convert a couple of pages without even creating an account.
- How does billing and cancellation work?
- Paid plans are billed through PayPal and renew automatically. You can cancel anytime from your profile page, or with "Cancel contracts here" at the bottom of every page without signing in. Withdrawal and refund details are in the Terms of Service.
- Is there an API for developers?
- Yes. The Developer plan is a pay-as-you-go API for async submit/status/download integration, so you can add handwriting conversion directly into your own product.
